“Mileage does not meet the fuel economy and environment range stated on the window sticker and vehicle description when the car was purchased. My car is a 2017 Ford EDGE sel awd with the twin-scrl 2.0l ecoboost engine and automatic transmission. The window sticker states mpg to be 20 in the city and 27 on the highway and 23 combined city/hwy. “After refueling at a bp service station, I was unable to remove the fuel nozzle from the fuel filler door. I didn't want to force the removal of the nozzle so I called Ford road side assist. After trying their recommendations they suggested having the car towed. I explained the car cannot be towed because the nozzle was stuck in the door. NHTSA complaint #11047049, filed 2017-11, 16 miles

“Common issue with purge valve to be leaking and is not in the manufacturer warranty according to them does not allow vehicle to get correct mpg. Vehicle will studder at idle or after fuel fill up. Will studder at stops as it is lacking correct fuel pressure, but wont throw code. Dealer is aware of issue with it being common to the vehicle but is trying to charge hundreds to thousands of dollars for repair.”
