“My Escape all of a sudden completely stopped accelerating in the middle of driving took it to a Ford dealer they said there were no codes the 2013 Ford Escape 2.0 was recalled for the same reason!!! You need to recall the 1.6 Ford Escape ecoboost my car litterly did what the recall said was happening”

NHTSA complaint #11221608, filed 2019-06, 26,000 miles

“After almost being killed when my car just stopped accelerating and check engine light came on it has happened more than once, several times. Does someone have to die before we get this fixed???? I have seen 855 complaints for same problem with the same vehicle.... I have replaced 2 of the same sensors at metro for schenectady... When is there going to be a recall for my vehicle? There are numorous times this happened”

NHTSA complaint #11079643, filed 2018-03, 45,000 miles

“My car will suddenly lose acceleration while driving. The engine does not shut off, simply the gas pedal does not work, even in neutral. I drift to side of road, restart the car and it is ok. Reverse works fine when this happens.”

NHTSA complaint #11072837, filed 2018-02, 60,000 miles

“The auto stalls randomly on occasion. I feel this is a dangerous situation, however, the dealer can't get a code so Ford will not fix. Ford clearly knows this is a throttle problem with many of their vehicles, and as I understand, it has been investigated for a recall several times. How can I get them to fix it?”

NHTSA complaint #10551574, filed 2013-11, 23,000 miles

“When driving this vehicle, it ser me like it is not running right, and think it is going to die on us in traffic. The front seat belt does not go back in the area where it belongs and sits on the front seat. The passenger driver side door does not close right when you open it. It will stay open until you push the handle down and then it will close and lock. We are afraid to travel long distance with the vehicle because of the way the car acts and run. We just want it fix or replace vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #11164098, filed 2018-12, 90,000 miles
