“The passenger side door will not open from the inside. This is symptoms (and probably the fix) are identical to recall 92v006000. This has been a common problems for many similar vehicles (f series, bronco and ranger) in this area. Temperatures are above freezing during the day and frequently drop below freezing at night. The latch assembly has been bent apparently when opened while frozen in the morning. It has been repaired repeatedly by bending the assembly back to it's original position.”

I am not the only one with this problem on 1992 2wd Ford 150 out of the 3 othe ones I looked at all 3 had the same problem. Dt”
NHTSA complaint #768897, filed 2002-10“The contact owns a 1992 Ford f150. The contact stated that the driver's side door locked failed and the door would not latch or unlock. The contact had to roll the window down to unlock the door from the outside. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer advised the contact that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number 92v006000 (structure). The failure mileage was 100,000 and the current mileage was 200,000.”
