“Driver side door will not latch at times. This has happened 3 times already and I have only had the vehicle 2 months. The first time I had to unlock and lock it multiple times ot get it to open the next I had to shut off the engine and the third time I had to press in the maual lock for it to latch. It did not latch when stationary or when in motion.”

NHTSA complaint #11377825, filed 2020-12, 52,000 miles

“Was driving on highway, cruise set at 55mph, came over a hill to a car stalled in the road. I couldn't stop, both vehicles declared total loss. Direct hit, front of my 2105 f150 to the rear end of a Ford focus, approximately 40mph. Seatbelt tightened and locked up, left bruises across my hips, airbags did not deploy. Hit my face in the steering wheel, bruised knees on dash.”

NHTSA complaint #11364735, filed 2020-10, 84,000 miles

“The (driver's side) door sometimes does not latch completely, or will not close completely, even though we have had it repaired under fsa 18no3. We learned there was a fsa 19no2 and that the dealer should repair it again at no charge, but they want to charge us $150, even though Ford says it should be free.”

NHTSA complaint #11219903, filed 2019-06, 24,000 miles

“Door latches are frozen and inoperable in temperatures below freezing. Doors will not open, and if they do open, they will not close. A major safety concern. Truck was parked in my lot over night. Events occurred during the months of 12/2016 and 01/2017. I live in north carolina, a place where it does not get below freezing often.”

NHTSA complaint #10946582, filed 2017-01, 8,550 miles

“This vehicle is equipped with the panoramic sunroof/moonfoof . It has never worked flawlessly since the day I purchased the vehicle. 3 days ago, it opened and now will not close. My vehicle basically has a permanent hole in the roof. Ford dealer says this is common problem and the entire window frame has to come out of the ceiling and be replaced by the one that Ford has redesigned ...but no recall.”
