Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“The ABS CONTROL MODULE has gone out therefore there isn’t any all wheel braking control for the vehicle. I know of my vehicle and several more that have this same problem. They range from 2007 up to 2012. With this problem also they will not pass State Emissions Inspection. I just inherited my vehicle. I was the owner of a repair shop and had several pickups with this very problem. This repair cost from Ford is over $1,000.00. This seems to be a recurring failure with the brake system.”
