2014 Ford F-150 Latches, locks and linkages Problems

The failure caused the cabin light to remain illuminated, causing the battery to be drained. The vehicle was jumped started and the battery was replaced. The vehicle had been taken to the dealer who diagnosed the vehicle with an electrical wiring failure. The door wiring was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened regarding the failure. …”

“The rear doors and passenger door will not unlock and cannot be opened manually using the inside handle, outside handle, or key. This represents a safety hazard as the door cannot be unlocked especially if small children are in the back seat. This is a manufacture defect at no fault to the owners.”
