Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Upon turning onto a highway and reaching approximately 45/50 miles per hour, the front end of the vehicle began violently shaking and regaining control was not possible until I slowed the vehicle. It seemed as though the vehicle front end was wobbling left and right as well as jumping up and down. Upon inspecting the steering and suspension, I found no apparent damage.”

NHTSA complaint #11373800, filed 2020-11, 80,000 miles

“I was traveling at a speed of 65 MPH down interstate 5 south in castaic, ca. The truck front end suddenly began to shake violently. It was only when I slowed down and pulled over when the shaking stopped and the truck drove normally. I later came to realize I had experienced what many call the 'death wobble'. I immediately took the truck to my local Ford dealer for repairs”

NHTSA complaint #11365654, filed 2020-10, 60,000 miles

“Driving on interstate and the truck started a uncontrollable wobble. During the wobble I felt I had no control of vehicle and was moving out of my lane. Ford needs to do something immediately before someone gets killed I also tell a fifth wheel camper and I can only imagine having that kind of weight behind me that the truck would flip and possibly kill me or someone else on the interstate.”

NHTSA complaint #11315743, filed 2020-03, 11 miles

“While driving my 2016 Ford f250 crew cab on a highway, at 50 miles per hour the vehicle steering started wobbling uncontrollably and the whole truck started shaking, I had to slow down to 25 miles per hour to stop the wobbling. Happened again at 65 miles and hour a few minutes later on the same road.”

NHTSA complaint #11321389, filed 2020-04, 71,250 miles

“At 42000 miles I started to experience what is known as the death wobble when I hit a rough patch in the road. Took the truck to the local dealer and they had it for a week and told me the couldn't find an issue. Issue is getting progressively worse and occuring more frequently.”

NHTSA complaint #11267902, filed 2019-10, 47,000 miles
