NHTSA complaint #11584358, filed 2024-04, 107,235 miles

“The truck has only 30k miles on it and last week while driving it on the freeway it suddenly developed a violent shaking at speeds over 60mph. Only by braking and pulling over to the shoulder were we able to stop the shaking. We are trying to work with our local Ford dealership-they think it's a problem with the steering dampner and the track bar.”

NHTSA complaint #11402676, filed 2021-03, 30,000 miles

“Upon encountering a bumpy surface on southbound I-25 near co. Springs at approx. 70 MPH, the front of my truck began shaking violently and continued to do so until I had it almost stopped. This happened once more about an hour later. I have since been driving it more slowly with repeated promises by Ford that they will fix it once they have the parts”

NHTSA complaint #11384588, filed 2020-12, 53,500 miles

“While driving at highway speeds (60mph), I hit a bump in the road and the truck began to shake violently in the front end, to a point that I felt I might lose control. The only way I could get it to stop was to significantly reduce speed. This has happened twice now and is very concerning. The second time was at highway speed as well, this time 70mph.”

NHTSA complaint #11301528, filed 2020-01, 48,000 miles

“Driving on I 495 last night and experienced death wobble. I have under 27,000 miles on my 2017 f250. In the past, I notice shaking but this was alot worse and lasted a long time. I had to put on hazard lights and move over lanes to shoulder while slowing down. Fortunately, I was not in an accident but could easily have benn.”
