“I bought this truck and its got 50000 miles on it and it has a clunking noise c coming from the steering shaft took it to ford to have trailer module recall fixed and had them inspect the noise and they said the whole steering shaft needs replaced and I have co workers with f250s and they have the same noise... something comes apart in steering shaft could cause a wreck and even death... dealer said its a common issue in the f250s they replace the whole shaft to fix the issue!”

“My new 2023 f250 super duty had approximately 540 miles when I received following messages: 1) pre-collision assist not available 2) service advance trac 3) abc or ABS not working Ford service did a diagnosis and ordered and put in steering control module. Fixed codes for about 1000 miles and codes have come back. Ford service diagnosis on two more separate occasions has not found the problem and codes still exist. Ford service wants to do harness lay over and replace two major harness and do not know if this will fix the issue. I do not want a brand new truck dissected. …”

“The steering will not center itself from a full right turn. You must use both hands spinning the steering wheel as fast as you can to keep from running out of the road or hitting parked cars. The truck will turn a circle if you do not steer frantically to get the turn straightened out. This a 2023 Ford F250 with 1300 miles on it. Ford dealer said this is normal, if so, lots of accidents ready to happen are on the road.”

“The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-250 SD. The contact stated that when the steering wheel was turned to the left, the steering wheel made popping sounds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The contact stated that an unknown repair was completed; however, while driving at undisclosed speeds, the vehicle drove over uneven ground and the vehicle was violently shaking. The contact stated that the shaking had worsened, and the vehicle experienced the death wobble. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. …”

The contact stated that the vehicle was parked, and while inspecting under the hood, the contact became aware that there was battery fluid leaking from the top of the battery. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the battery was replaced; however, the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the battery was replaced a second time. Additionally, while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact noticed an abnormal sound coming from the steering column. …”
