Pulled over again and turned the vehicle off a few times and then it drive normally but with the check engine light on. Had happened 3 times. Took to Ford dealer 2 times and dealer could not reproduce the issue and gave it back to me.”

“Driving at approximately 65 miles per hour. Vehicle suddenly went into neutral I was forced to pull over on a busy highway. The dashboard was illuminated with several warning lights and messages. After one key cycle, I was only able to drive in a limited limp mode. After a second key cycle and waiting a few minutes, I was able to drive like normal but an engine light stayed illuminated.”

NHTSA complaint #11603646, filed 2024-07

“I was driving at 60-70 MPH on the highway and lost gas power. The electrical power in the hybrid motor continued working, but I was unable to accelerate or maintain full speed. IMPORTANT: I had this very thing repaired in accordance with a previous recall and an identical issue in January, approximately five months ago. I am reporting in case an additional recall and new software patch is needed.”

NHTSA complaint #11594508, filed 2024-06

“Truck died in the middle of a busy road. I was able to pull over and let it sit. Started it up, got another couple miles down the road, and it died again. Full plethora of warning messages. Let it sit some more - it started and I was able to drive it home. Pulled the codes: U1011 and U1028.”

NHTSA complaint #11577545, filed 2024-03

“I took it to the dealer for a recall with a PCM programming. After that, I drove it for a few days and the car came to a sudden halt on the freeway. Luckily the cars behind me did not hit me but it is a safety concern and the dealerships are not able to find the problem”
