“When I start up the car, and the temperature is below 50 degrees, the pre-collision assist is not available, the park aid malfunctions and the blind spot detection with cross traffic is inoperative....the alerts are on the dash, and come as alerts to my phone. The car can still be driven. My car has been at the service department at the dealership since march 16, and I have no word on when it will be returned. This has happened 2/26, 2/27, 3/2, 3/4, 3/5, 3/6,3/7,3/10 and 3/12. …”
NHTSA complaint #11404729, filed 2021-03, 100 miles“This is a safety issue. The front collision assist is not working. I have returned the car to the Ford Dealer (Biener Ford) several times but the dangerous issue persists. I'm not the only one. There are many complaints listed on the web and the Ford Mach E forum. Ford needs to recall their EV Ford Mach-E vehicles and fix this dangerous safety issue once and for all.”
NHTSA complaint #11740320, filed 2026-05“Front Camera Fault Service not available. Pre-Collision Assist Not Available. These faults have been showing up for over a year. I have taken my car to the dealer about 10 times, to no avail. Every time you hit a bump it happens. As I write this my car is in the shop again. The internet is rife with people complaining about this problem.”
NHTSA complaint #11679923, filed 2025-08“Forward camera failure, will not reset, continues to come up since 2021 multiple times this vehicle has been in the shop for this repair now that the warranty is over it is not covered and is not getting fixed I cannot use my cruise control and it continues to come up on the dash. This needs to be repaired and no one wants to fix it”
NHTSA complaint #11613893, filed 2024-09“I was driving on the highway when the car gave me an error saying that the front camera is faulty and the collision warning system was giving an error. This stopped my cruise control and lane departure settings. I had just got my car back from Ford for this issue where they replaced a $7000 computer part and said it was fixed. This issue has been happening since I purchased the car in Dec 2024.”
