“As I was driving down the road (in motion / city street) at 30 miles per hour in my brand new (4 week old / 2200 miles) all electric Ford mach e, the display flashed multiple warning lights that came too quickly to decipher, and then the car went dead. I was able to pull off the road and come to a stop. At this point the car was completely dead. Even the hazard lights wouldn't work which made the situation dangerous since the cars behind me could not tell that there was a problem.”
NHTSA complaint #11415152, filed 2021-05, 2,200 miles“My 2021 Mustang MachE experienced a failure of the relay which connects its high-voltage battery to the rest of the car. The car is an EV, and the result of this is that the drive-motor had no power, and the car would not move. I would like to ask, please, that all model years with this known-issue (HVBJB - high voltage battery junction box) be recalled.”
NHTSA complaint #11767362, filed 2026-09“This is a safety issue. The front collision assist is not working. I have returned the car to the Ford Dealer (Biener Ford) several times but the dangerous issue persists. I'm not the only one. There are many complaints listed on the web and the Ford Mach E forum. Ford needs to recall their EV Ford Mach-E vehicles and fix this dangerous safety issue once and for all.”
NHTSA complaint #11740320, filed 2026-05“My cameras will not work and the screen will be black. Anytime I reverse or come too close to an object the cameras will show, but since there is a problem with the camera wire the image is just a black screen. This is a serious safety issue that Ford has yet to address and I have notified them about it, with an image and video of the problem.”
NHTSA complaint #11640304, filed 2025-02“Forward camera failure, will not reset, continues to come up since 2021 multiple times this vehicle has been in the shop for this repair now that the warranty is over it is not covered and is not getting fixed I cannot use my cruise control and it continues to come up on the dash. This needs to be repaired and no one wants to fix it”
