“My fuel rail keeps having low fuel pressure starting I've had it replaced new spark plugs new coils tune up and now I'm being told it's my fuel injectors apparently there are lots of problems with these fuel injectors I love my car but this has cost me near 1500$ I don't know what to do seeing as how new injectors are gonna cost 1300.”

NHTSA complaint #10938927, filed 2016-12, 103,000 miles

“I've complained to multiple service dealers that my car almost stalls while leaving a dead stop and also hesitates at highway speeds. I'm afraid to drive it out of state for fear of an incident because of the engine/transmission behavior. One dealer service transmission specialist ordered a part and installed it, but, the problems still exist!”

NHTSA complaint #10512393, filed 2013-05, 8,000 miles

“The car has the cap les fuel filler system, when I fill the car, it leaks gas on the ground behind the rear tire, each time the pump shuts off. It does this at every station I fill up at. If I try to top off the tank it makes a very large puddle. The dealer I purchased the car from has not fixed this complaint and will not document my complaint.”

NHTSA complaint #10443190, filed 2012-01, 100 miles

“I have problems with brake and transmission passes the changes and gives a hit. The brake is going to the bottom and makes noise, on occasion gets hard the pedal and no brakes,I was talking to a person who has a Ford edge 2010 and it passed the same, the person called to Ford and had a recall and Ford fixed it, I called for my Taurus no recall of that, but it is curious that suffers from the same problem and Ford not give me a recall . Sometimes when I accelerated the car does not respond as suppose to.”

NHTSA complaint #10904256, filed 2016-09, 30 miles

“My vehicle suddenly ran hot while driving on the interstate at approximately 65 MPH. I immediately pulled off as my exit was approaching and within 1/2 found a safe place to park. The engine had steam coming from the radiator. After calling aaa for a tow, it was towed to the local aaa and then to the classic Ford dealership. As the car arrived on a friday, Ford did not check it until the following tuesday. I received a quote from Ford that it needed an entirely new engine, timing belt and water pump for $7, 400.00! …”
