“The engine just stalls without any warning while driving and will not restart for awhile. I called Ford, but the lady told me they are not technicians at the call center so they can't assist; even after I told them that I took the car to a Ford dealership and their scanning didn't reveal anything. The issues happens 5 times over two months.”

NHTSA complaint #11152630, filed 2018-11, 77,000 miles

“The fuel pump module failed in my vehicle. Upon research published reports state that over 465,000 Ford vehicles of the same year were recalled for this and replaced with almost 80,000 of them being the Taurus model. I believe this part should not have failed at 44,000 miles and should be covered under the recall.”

NHTSA complaint #10970641, filed 2017-04, 44,749 miles

“I am driving and all of a sudden the car goes into a safety mode. The is was appears to be a wrench that reads see owners manual the engine sounds like it sputter and there is no acceleration when the gas is pressed. I have to pull over safely and restart my vehicle and the problem goes away for about 10 miles.”

NHTSA complaint #11010868, filed 2017-07, 83,156 miles

“I’m not having any success with my local Ford Dealership or with Ford Customer Service getting my car covered under the Customer Satisfaction Program. I have fuel system issues, I need to replace both cats and 2 bad sensors, halfshaft, fuel system, and braking issues. The dealership said to contact Ford and Ford says it’s the dealership’s problem. If they don’t fix it, I’m done with Ford. If they can’t stand behind their products and their dealerships won’t help the customers, then my loyalty is done. …”

NHTSA complaint #11565530, filed 2024-01, 103,250 miles

“There is a recall on this issue that I'm having when I went to Ford they said there is no recall but I see a recall online for same issue the problem never got taking care of so I wanted to get it taking care of. Check engine light on I had it looked at the recall is same issue showing on my check engine light. Why is Ford saying there is no recall when I see that it clearly shows recall and no work had been done to my vehicle to fix this issue?”
