“While driving various speeds, the vehicle will just shut off in the middle of traffic and show a wrench light on the dash. This has happened 4 times (twice in the last week) on my 2013 Ford Taurus limited. I can start the car again after about 20 seconds but this is a very dangerous defect that has many complaints. I'm lucky no one has crashed into the back of me. This is my first and last Ford.”

The car would not start back up and no warning indicator lights turned out to warn of the failure. The Ford dealership fixed the problem and it turned out the be a faulty fuel control module. My car was not included in the recall 16v621000. I have the Taurus with the limited trim and a 3.5l v6.”
