“To the touch, one section of the drivers seat generates alarming heat. Comes from inside the seat, nothing visible. Noticed while driving. Heat comes and goes”
NHTSA complaint #11012565, filed 2017-08, 57,000 miles“Honda CR-V leaks rainwater onto floors of vehicle. An inch of water in the passenger compartment makes it dangerous to operate pedals which become slippery from footware, water damage to fire extinguisher and other safety equipment stored on floor for times of emergency. Many, many complaints from other CR-V owners experiencing the same problem online. I dried out the carpet, it rained again and another inch of water inside the vehicle. If mildew/mold grows this becomes a serious health hazard jepordizing anyone riding in the vehicle, especially those with compramised immune systems.”
NHTSA complaint #10903604, filed 2016-09, 170,000 miles“The driver seat of my 2006 Honda CR-V began wobbling and rocking. When I took it to the dealer, they mentioned that the seat frame is worn out and need to replace it. It costs about $600. Driver seat is a very important part and should not be worn out like that.”
NHTSA complaint #10377181, filed 2011-01“The contact owns a 2006 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that the drivers seat over heated and resulted in second and third degree burns. The vehicle identification number was not available. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 60,000. Updated 04/11/12”
NHTSA complaint #10401518, filed 2011-05, 60,000 miles“The contact owns a 2006 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving approximately 25 MPH, the driver's side heat warmer overheated.
