“My car was in park. The plastic trim piece that houses the controls for the seat, on the drivers side, has a trim piece that curves around to the front of the seat about 4-5 . This trim piece caught my pant leg on my exit from the car and I fell out of the car onto the ground. The first time it happened was dec. 21st 2018, my body was sore for 2 days. I called Honda and they had me go to my local Honda dealer and have the trim piece replaced. 2 times now this trim piece has caught my pant leg on my exit from the car and I have fallen out of the car on to the ground. …”
NHTSA complaint #11175873, filed 2019-02, 6,000 miles“After over a 12-15 attempts over a week I still cannot locate the anchors to which a child safety seat attaches in the back seat. The driver's manual is not only not helpful, but misleading. It's necessary to google the problem to locate the anchors and then still has been impossible to attach the latches. This would be especially difficult for anyone regularly removing and replacing a child seat. I've given up and hope an angel is watching over me when I transport my grandchildren. How many more will revert to this method before a child is injured?”
NHTSA complaint #11051726, filed 2017-12, 110 miles“The seats are extremely uncomfortable and cause bottom and back pain. After driving for 30-40 minutes the driver's bottom becomes numb. This is a safety issue because the driver cannot attend to the road as effectively while being in extreme discomfort. The seats are not well-designed if they are causing the driver this much pain. Adjusting the seat in many possible positions does not eliminate this discomfort.”
NHTSA complaint #11205495, filed 2019-05, 100 miles“During a motor vehicle accident I was hit from behind while stopped by a vehicle going 40-45 miles per hour. I was pushed into another stopped vehicle in front of me. My drivers seat fully reclined and twisted as a result of the impact, and I was not secured into the seat properly as a result. I have multiple injuries from the accident due to the way my body was able to be thrown around the vehicle.”
NHTSA complaint #11454293, filed 2022-02“Parked my car at a eating establishment during a heavy rain storm and high wind was inside about 10 minutes came out to find all my windows half way down and sun roof open seats soaked water standing in seats floor board dash speakers soaked what is causing this to happen no pictures was raing to hard to get them was trying to get car home to dry out interior”
