“The moonroof shattered as I was driving on a freeway. The shattering sounded like an explosion or gunshot sound that startled me resulting in some swerving in lanes. Traffic was light and I did not hit anything and was able to exit the freeway and pull into a gas station to examine what had happened. I noticed some glass falling from my car roof and saw that the moonroof was shattered.”

“My wife was on the interstate and was caught in a storm. She turned on the wipers and slowed down to a crawl. The wipers barely worked in a thunderstorm and they were on high. She couldn't see anything and I had to pull off because visibility was zero. The wipers were very slow on high and it can cause a serious accident especially on a interstate and ur in traffic and going speed limit. The car was just bought brand new and only in my possession and 2 months. Be careful out there.”

NHTSA complaint #11744296, filed 2026-06

“The speed of the windshield wipers is drastically slower than any other vehicle that I have ever driven, and I have no visibility during heavy rain. It is extremely dangerous for long Southeast Texas commutes.”

NHTSA complaint #11549955, filed 2023-10

“The contact owns a 2022 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that both the driver's side and the passenger's side mirror housing covers were melting. The vehicle was taken to an unknown collision center who took pictures of the vehicle and provided an estimate of repair to the contact. Then the vehicle was taken to the dealer where the vehicle was purchased. The dealer advised the contact that the mirror housing covers were not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. …”
