“My car was wrecked at the dealership in oakhurst, new jersey on february 4,2016. The dealership is gold coast Cadillac. They sent it to freehold collision and it was not repaired correctly. It cost $11,622.15 and the door on the passenger side was not put on straight. The car was not safely repaired and my name was forged on the documents by gold coast Cadillac.”
NHTSA complaint #10928486, filed 2016-11, 84,000 miles“Purchased vehicle with navigation option. Upon first use, voice directions were terribly wrong. Dealer ordered new navigation disk from Cadillac - but problem remained. Issue has not been resolved after three months. Cadillac regional manager said problem will not be fixed until 2014 model year. High potential exists for fatal accident if driver is directed to make a wrong turn into one-way street. Handheld GPS units are very accurate; GM engineers must be directed to make a fix asap. Dealer tested other 2012 Cadillac SRX's and same problem occurs. This is a potential disaster in the making.”
