The contact stated that while driving approximately 25 MPH, the vehicle failed to stop when the brake pedal was depressed and crashed into the preceding vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy and the contact sustained back injuries. A police report was filed. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 7,800.”

The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 MPH the driver suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle causing the vehicle to crash into a fence. During the crash, the front end of the vehicle was damaged but the airbags did not deploy. The driver sustained a fractured jaw and fractured thoracic vertebrae. A police report was taken at the scene and the vehicle was towed to the vehicle holding facility. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were not yet contacted. …”

On june 14, 2014, the consumer was involved in an accident, in front of his residence. The last time, the consumer was at the dealer, he complained about the transmission acting strange. In particular without warning, it would race, the RPM would surge and it was necessary to brake during those times. When he entered the driveway, the automatic transmission was in gear. …”
