“When at a signal light with the brake pushed, we are experiencing an issue where the whole vehicle will unexpectedly lurch forward as if hit from behind after coming to a stop. This could possibly result in the truck hitting the vehicle in front of you if you are in tight traffic. Our local dealer inspected but could not find a solution.”
NHTSA complaint #11637973, filed 2025-01“Vehicle loss of power!! After turning occasionally I will only have enough power to remain at low low speed. Sometimes having to pull over to side of the road because I can’t gain speed and traffic is coming quickly. Problem lasts 30 seconds or more before it kicks in. Doesn’t matter if my foot is pressed to the floor there is no response.”
NHTSA complaint #11589543, filed 2024-05“I have confirmed that my passenger side rear axle bolt has sheared off and I am concerned about the safety of driving my truck. I need a remedy, I have contacted Asheville, NC Ford dealership, they said they would talk to a manager and get back to me. I am concerned about my safety with continued use of my new truck. I need Ford to take this matter seriously.”
NHTSA complaint #11590190, filed 2024-05“In April 2026 the recall on this truck was done to correct a fault for the Trailer Disconnect. I hooked up my travel trailer for the 1st time here in June and the false warning still came on 5 times during my trip. The software update that was done is not solving the problem. Warning light comes on, says trailer disconnected while the trailer is still connected and all connections are plugged in.”
NHTSA complaint #11746133, filed 2026-06“My truck has BlueCruise technology. I have noted that the technology can be dangerous and drive me off the road, particularly in an area of an Interstate I drive often. Each time I go through that area, it will drive me off the road if I don't catch it. Always in the same place and in the same way.”
