“Multiple Ford dealerships have rejected to fix/or settle my recalled issue on my brakes and ive been in just misses just about every time I push the brake pedel due to you gotta push the peddle down to the floor just to stop otherwise it wont stop the car without hitting someone... Nhtsa campaign id: 19v904000 the issue has only been getting worse since ive owened the car.”

NHTSA complaint #11402836, filed 2021-03, 98,000 miles

“Abs brakes system... I've been notified of recall, an ive set an appt. And went there in which the person I spoken with told me there's an recall but they couldn't help fix the safety problem and im not trying to be hurt nor hurt one one else via traffic accident due to Ford dealers don't want to help resolve the recalled parts .”

NHTSA complaint #11309923, filed 2020-02, 98,000 miles

“While hitting a pothole or driving on a wet surface and using the brakes the brakes lock up and the car slides before coming to a stop. After this happens the brakes are very spongy and go all the way to the floor when being pressed. When this happens I need to swerve around other vehicles to avoid an accident. I believe this is an issue with the ABS.”

NHTSA complaint #11240939, filed 2019-07, 93,000 miles

“After applying my brakes on a close call my break pedal no goes all the way to the floor. Takes a long distance to stop. I brought my vehicle in to have it fixed and apparently the ABS control module and hydraulic brake controller will not re-engage! Ford wants close to $2000 for a replacement. After research I believe it is a faulty factory ABS control unit”

NHTSA complaint #11203806, filed 2019-04, 138,000 miles

“My brake master cylinder was replaced in june 2017. Just had the power booster replaced on may 4, 2018. It is now having the same problem as on may 4th - brakes going all the way down, have to pump brakes in order to stop. I was traveling from oceanside ca to scottsdale az on may 4th and just around town today, may 22 here in oceanside.”
