“On 6/19/2026, I had four new tires (Goodyear Eagle Touring, size 235/40R19 96V) and a four-wheel alignment installed at an authorized Honda dealership. The post-service alignment printout showed the right front camber and left front caster remained out of specification both before and after the alignment was performed. I left the dealership at approximately 4:30 PM. At approximately 6:20 PM, while driving westbound on Interstate 10 at highway speed, the left front tire, one of the four tires installed roughly two hours earlier, suddenly blew out with no prior warning light or indication. …”
NHTSA complaint #11745350, filed 2026-06“Hankook Kinergy GT - 225/50R17 94V Original Equipment (OE) on 2024 Honda Accord EX/L During regular and routine service by the dealer, tires were rotated every six months. Abnormal wear was noted at 5,800 miles with original 10/32 tread depth down to 7/32 on two tires. At 17,100 miles (18 months), abnormal inside edge wear was noted by the dealer and an alignment performed. A Caution was noted on the Multi-Point Inspection for both rear tires at this time. …”
