“2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0l. Radiator fan came apart damaging radiator & shroud. Replaced fan & radiator. Since this failure is identical to the failure that initiated the recall, Jeep should reimburse me for my loss.”

NHTSA complaint #10202368, filed 2007-09, 85,000 miles

“I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee laredo, with a 4.0 liter inline 6 cylinder, and doing a bit or research I have found that is common on this car to have a overheating problem, due to cracked cylinder head which is a major job...to fix this problem will cost about $ 3000.00.”

NHTSA complaint #10291363, filed 2009-11, 65,000 miles

“My car has major problems and I can't afford to fix, then I find the problem that I have is due to the automaker's problem because the car is on recalls for the problems I am having. I received no notices on any recall, and when I got on the web-site to check for recalls there are as many as 10 major problems with my car and Jeep. Some could cause me to crash or even explode while driving. Where are my recall notices?”
