“My husband was driving the car 2 days after we purchased it. He was coming down a slight incline and trying to yield and turn at an intersection. The power steering went out and the brakes locked up so he could not stop or control the direction of the vehicle. It was very scary with young children in the back seats! No warning lights or sounds alerted him to the failure of the steering or brakes.”

NHTSA complaint #10915112, filed 2016-10, 120,050 miles

“When cornering at low speeds there is a loud rubbing noise (like a tire rubbing in the wheel well) coming from the front of the vehicle. I can feel it both in the steering wheel and brake pedal. When I got new tires, I had the mechanic check the wheel wells for rub marks and he did not find any. He stated that the tires were not rubbing anywhere.”

NHTSA complaint #10535915, filed 2013-08, 46,000 miles

“This vehicle tends to stall at or below 35 MPH. Have been to independent mechanics and Chrysler and no one can seem to figure out why it stalls. When it stalls there is a loss of control of the car and is very dangerous especially when in rush hour traffic. My wife drives this vehicle along with my 3 children. I have seen numerous complaints on this matter and I am quite surprised there has not been a recall.”

NHTSA complaint #10667803, filed 2014-12, 75,000 miles

“2007 Chrysler Pacifica with 38,829 miles need to have both outer tie rod ends replaced. My wife and I are the first owners. I feel that the miles on vehicle are to low for such damage and very close to the basic coverage or the intent of coverage. I will be getting it repaired at my local Chrysler dealership.”

NHTSA complaint #10386736, filed 2011-03, 38,829 miles

“I have had multiple issues with my 2007 Chrysler Pacifica-from the beginning a popping and clicking noise from the transmissions/results from dealership motor mounts went bad repaired several times over the years. Another issue is my car is just go dead while driving on the freeways/streets etc. I took it to the dealership and they have not been able to repair or see the issue. I know it's something wrong and this is scary driving this car.”
