“The power steering assist is not working properly, the car pulls to the right and it's hard to get it back on the road, there is a recall v053 to address a power steering issue, but the dealer states that recall is not causing my problem and to fix the issue will cost $3400.00. How do I know if the recall is the problem or troncalli's diagnostic test results?”
NHTSA complaint #11360976, filed 2020-09, 104,000 miles“I took my car 2 times already to the Chrysler service center to investigate steering wheel problem, and they told me that they couldnt find out any problem. It feels like locking when you turn the steering wheel and turn to other way. My 3 babies are riding in this car and I worry so much. It happens low speed and high speed also (30 - 70 MPH)”
NHTSA complaint #11229892, filed 2019-07, 10 miles“For the past month or so when the vehicle is going in curves the steering wheel is sticking. It's almost like there is no power steering. I feel like I could wreck my vehicle because it is very hard to control due to the steering. This is occurring when the van is in motion, accelerating, when I try to turn the wheel back straight”
NHTSA complaint #11257725, filed 2019-09, 62,000 miles“The power steering would go out, a notice would come up stating power steering unavailable , then the power steering would work for about 60 seconds and go out again and then repeat the problem. This just starting happening on 4/10/21. We had just gotten into the van and started driving, we went about 1/2 mile, it happened a total of 4 times. We turned around and brought the vehicle back home and it happened 2 more times”
NHTSA complaint #11407507, filed 2021-04, 32,173 miles“We purchased a Pacifica on 12/21/2017. Not even an hour after leaving the dealership the vehicle stalled, losing all power, and had to be restarted to regain power and driving ability at a stop light. We were not hit, but it is very dangerous to have a vehicle that stalls randomly.”
