“While driving - slowing to a stop for a stoplight, my car's computer screens started flashing various warnings to restart the engine. At this point, the car was not responsive to the gas pedal / would not move and the power steering was also not functional. I had to put on my hazards, put the car in park and turn off and turn back on the engine.”

This has happened at various speeds and conditions and is very dangerous, not only when steering goes out, but with the suddenness of it coming back on. It can do it several times in just a few minutes of driving and worries me about transporting my children, but this is our only vehicle.”

I put on my flashers and started beeping my horn to alert other drivers. Thankfully, I was able to find a clear path over to the shoulder. After I was stopped for about 30 seconds the indicator light went off and the steering came back.”

It said, power steering unavailable on the dashboard. Thank god there was not a car waiting to turn on the road I turned onto because I probably would have crashed into them. It took all my might to turn the car onto the neighborhood street. Also sometimes the sliding doors to the van pick and choose when they want to open.”

It resulted in damages to both my van and the parked car that it was attempting to park me next to.”
