“Vehicle was brought to dealership 3/9/21 for nocking on l/f. Dealer diagnosed strut as problem. Part is on b/o. Chrysler mfg. Has been contacted for assistance to secure part and attaching parts to remedy the situation. Currently they have not done anything but promise dates that parts will be available.(they are still missing two parts). They have not answered my request to provide solution or a rental so I can drive a safe vehicle. All of this is strange since Chrysler is actively building the car. One would think they have the parts on the assembly line! …”
NHTSA complaint #11413385, filed 2021-04, 33,000 miles“I was about to pull out into a main road with my 3 kids in the car, and my steering wheel locked up and became impossible to drive, had to quickly reverse and could not make it home. I then received an error message on my dash saying power steering unavailable, service requested. The car only has 118,000 miles on it.”
NHTSA complaint #11763944, filed 2026-09“The steering wheel sticks in a slight right turn around the 1 o'clock position. I have not felt it on left turns. There is no noise, scraping, or grinding. There is one slight right bend in the road on my way home and it consistently does the stick thing as I straighten out the wheel. I've searched and found many references to the same problem. I know NHTSA has started an investigation on this for Pacificas made in other yrs.”
NHTSA complaint #11686999, filed 2025-09“Possible control arm failure, been reading online that this has been a known issue with these and nothing has been done about it. My wife was driving with our 3 small children when the vehicle went left on its own with no steering causing her to lose control jumping the west bound lanes of traffic. Luckily no traffic was coming or this would have ended badly. My wife has minor injury’s and my children were unharmed”
NHTSA complaint #11564274, filed 2024-01“While driving, received service power steering warning, followed by intermittent outage of the power steering. The power steering cuts in and out at uncertain times, so I will be taking a corner using a lot of force on the steering wheel because the power steering isn't working, when it will suddenly start working again, and cause me to oversteer. So far this hasn't caused an accident, but it most definitely could.”
