“Car will stall out while it's in drive, but braking. Yesterday it did it as I was turning left in the middle of an intersection. It stalled and turned off the engine flashing 'fcw/ lanesense unavailable restart required.' I then will have to shift to park and restart the car. This has happened several times and Chrysler has not fixed the issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11311635, filed 2020-02, 26,834 miles“While I am at a quick stop - stop sign, rotary, light, intersection - my vehicle will shut off without warning, causing me to have to put the car into park, restart, and put the car back into drive before I am able to continue in motion. This causes me to stall for 30 seconds - 1 minute with traffic piling up behind me.”
NHTSA complaint #11390447, filed 2021-01, 29 miles“While driving - slowing to a stop for a stoplight, my car's computer screens started flashing various warnings to restart the engine. At this point, the car was not responsive to the gas pedal / would not move and the power steering was also not functional. I had to put on my hazards, put the car in park and turn off and turn back on the engine.”
NHTSA complaint #11170164, filed 2019-01, 30,000 miles“My van's radio will randomly play a high-pitched tone and will not stop until the car is turned off. It is very distracting while driving and has happened randomly over a dozen times. Nothing seems to turn it off. I took a video and shared it with the dealer but Chrysler will not repair/replace the radio. Unfortunately, the radio controls almost everything in the car.”
NHTSA complaint #11300312, filed 2020-01, 1,725 miles“Twice now I have been driving and the car has turned itself off. I look at the dash and it gives and error about being in park sense mode. I took it to the dealer and they say I must have had a voltage spike but they can not reproduce the error so they cannot fix it. Its pretty scary luckily no one was barreling up behind me when it happened.”
