“The left slider passenger door will not stay closed. If the door is opened and then shut, it will re-open. There is no way to keep it closed once it has been opened. This obviously happens when the vehicle is stationary.”

The contact stated that while children were attempting to exit the vehicle from the rear driver’s side sliding door, the door failed to open as needed. The contact attempted to manually open the door from outside the vehicle and was unable to open the door. The contact stated that while driving to the dealer to service the door, the door ajar message was displayed on the instrument panel, accompanied by a warning chime. The contact closed the door which corrected the failure. …”
