“I hydroplained off the road, and hit a telephone pole at about 60 MPH. I smashed the driver side fender into the motor, and broke the frame. Also, I broke both seats in the front back.the Dodge investigator totaled it . I asked Dodge what the were going to do, they said that I had to hit the pole directly in the front. I guess the front fender isn't front enough, or breaking the frame in the front isn't enough. The seats broke back and my seatbelt didn't keep me in my seat, I ended up in the back. I am still having problems with my broken wrist,l and my shoulder. …”
NHTSA complaint #10106160, filed 2005-01, 6,000 miles“I own a 2004 Dodge Durango. We have one child in a booster, one in a forward-carseat and one in an infant carrier (getting ready to move into a rear-carseat). They just now fit in one row of seats and we are concerned that they will not fit when we move our daughter to her rear-facing carseat. My question is, is it safe to have all three in one row, and how are we expected to drive smaller cars when I barely have enough room to transport my children.”
NHTSA complaint #10244372, filed 2008-10“Whiled driving vehicle at 50 MPH the heated seat burned consumer's back and inside of his right thigh. Took vehicle to a local mechanic, and they checked heat control, and couldn't find anything wrong. Consumer was taken to the emergency room with second degree burns.”
