“My 2010 Dodge Journey started recently its not starting when I turn the key it just goes click. After a while it might start or if I put the car in neutral it might start. The horn also goes off on it's on from time to time . The vehicle was stationary the times it wouldn't start but it was both stationary and moving in traffic when horn went off.”

NHTSA complaint #11197268, filed 2019-04, 15 miles

“My vehicle was parked outside my home and the horn started blowing all by itself. This continued no matter what I tried (pressing the key fob buttons, pressing the horn manually, and starting the vehicle). We finally had to take the fuse out to get it to stop. The horn blew so much the neighbors called the police thinking that something was wrong.”

NHTSA complaint #11204867, filed 2019-04, 125,000 miles

“My wife was driving the car and it shut off while driving. The engine and electric system shut off and she could not use the brakes. She had to coast to a parking lot and then it started up again. We have taken it into a mechanic and there is no information on the computer regarding what happened. He cannot diagnose the problem.”

NHTSA complaint #11308704, filed 2020-02, 140,000 miles

“My vehicle will randomly not start. I turn the key in the ignition and the lights and radio come on, but it only clicks and doesn't start. Then I attempt to start it again and it will magically start. This intermittent starting has no rhyme or reason and has left me stranded with my little girl. No mechanic or repair shop can figure out what is wrong.”

NHTSA complaint #11245341, filed 2019-08, 127,000 miles

“The car will not start half the time I've taken it to the dealership and they can't find the problem I go to the store and get in my car and the anti theft light will be on and it will not crank the internet is flooded with the same problem from thousands of owners and it's still not fixed I'm tired of being stranded when I still owe 8000 on my car”

NHTSA complaint #11153713, filed 2018-11, 90,000 miles
