“When driving down the highway for the 3rd time the traction control light came on and the car just started slowing down. When I turn the car off and back on it goes off, so far it has not come back on or happened happened again. When the happened the second time I got home turned the car off and the wipers came on. Not sure if that is related but it is unusual.”

NHTSA complaint #11406374, filed 2021-04, 146,000 miles

“2007 Ford EDGE looses power. Speedometer goes to 0. Exclamation mark, air bag and tool light comes on. Motor revs up to high RPM. I understand this is a sensor issue with this particular vehicle. And it is a very common happening with this vehicle. With the vehicle shutting down without any indication that it is about to happen. This happens at highway speeds as well as in town speeds. I think Ford should investigate this issue and issue a recall. Thank you”
