“Ball joint I see previous complaints on this and I would like to have investigated again. It is the same issue noted in the previous complaint from 2009. Do I need to contact Ford? Do they take care of this even though they did not do a recall? This happens when in motion there is front suspension collapse”

NHTSA complaint #10871793, filed 2016-06, 110,000 miles

“I kept hearing a strange noise when I applied my brakes. When I took the vehicle in their diagnosis was that a pin was breaking on the front caliper on the front right tire. They replaced the pin, right front wheel bearing assembly, and hub. They replaced the front brake pads and inspected the brake system. Hub assembly was wobbling causing the pins to break and caused my brake pads to ruin.”

And then it started having warning issue lights and then I started having problems with steering and holding in the road and it begain popping when I turn the vehicle to the left . And then the recall with the fuel tank I am scared of the vehicle and I do carry children in it. The used car lot I got it from will not do an inspection on it. So I would like to have it looked at and see if does need to be fixed as so i don't have a accident and see about getting the gas tank fixed. …”

The right wheel (looking out from the vehicle) seemed to give when it turned. I took it into a body shop and they said that the ball joint was loose and needed replacement. At the time of the incident the mileage on my car was approximately 48k. I have only highway miles and do not do any off-roading. …”
