“My Ford EDGE 2011 3.5 6cyl while in motion, stopped running and three new electric modules and 6 cores had been replaced and the unit still doesn't run normal and has a burning smell in the motor. Unit has been for the last 1 month at the authorized Ford dealer and now they want to charge me the catalytic. Almost +2k in bills.”

NHTSA complaint #11281701, filed 2019-11, 92,000 miles

“While driving in the city my hazard lights came on automatically and I could not turn them off. This also made my blinkers incapable of being used, a clear safety issue and law offense. My hazard lights continued to turn on and off automatically leaving me with a drained battery. I have researched the recalls and it seems this can be a fire hazard but my car was not on this recall list.”

NHTSA complaint #11324083, filed 2020-05, 128,000 miles

“Bracke light, and ABS light comes on. We think its the control module and internal electronic failure. Back up camera has not worked in a very long time. I am told its very expensive. Another lady who was at the same mechanic had the same problem. Im disturbed and not happy with eclectronic failure. I dont think its normal. Can you do anything to resolve this problem?”

NHTSA complaint #11150719, filed 2018-11, 67,000 miles

“I have had my door ajar sensors malfunction 3 seperate times. This issue has been fixed twice under warranty. This 3rd time I have been quoted $800+ to fix this because now both doors are malfunctioning. This is a huge annoyance and a safety hazard. This makes my doom lights stay on and will not allow me to lock my doors while I am using my car, which is extremely scary.”

NHTSA complaint #11010106, filed 2017-07, 80,000 miles

“The drivers side door latch sensor does not recognize the door being closed. Door ajar comes on, interior lights stay on, can't lock the doors. I slam the door repeatedly to get the light to occasionally turn off. Ive had it fixed twice, once at my own cost and it is happening again for a third time. It is not safe and it is frustrating Ford refuses to help”
