“Was driving on highway, cruise set at 55mph, came over a hill to a car stalled in the road. I couldn't stop, both vehicles declared total loss. Direct hit, front of my 2105 f150 to the rear end of a Ford focus, approximately 40mph. Seatbelt tightened and locked up, left bruises across my hips, airbags did not deploy. Hit my face in the steering wheel, bruised knees on dash.”

NHTSA complaint #11364735, filed 2020-10, 84,000 miles

“While driving brand new 2015 f150xlt supercrew with 6.5ft bed I was full stopped about 20ft behind a car that was waiting for another car to turn as I looked up in rear view mirror saw another truck coming behind me down hill at approximatley 45mph the speed limit on the state route 2 lane just before entering town. …”

NHTSA complaint #10820584, filed 2016-01, 377 miles

“My father was involved in a single vehicle accident in september 2020, where he struck a utility pole with the front driver side bumper on his truck, causing the pole to break. His truck was traveling around 55 MPH on a state highway, when he suddenly had to avoid hitting a truck that braked in front of him, causing my father to swerve to the right. His truck went through a ditch before it came to a stop when it struck the utility pole. The air bag in the steering wheel came out but failed to inflate and my father hit his head on the steering wheel. …”

NHTSA complaint #11375808, filed 2020-11, 87,000 miles

“I had a significant front end collision and the airbags did not deploy. I was traveling at least 70 MPH on the interstate when I collided with another vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #11291427, filed 2019-12, 68,000 miles

“During a accident where I rear ended another vehicle that was either stopped or at a very slow roll on a off-ramp (traffic was backed up from a wreck further up), neither my airbags or my seat belt restrained me. The result being me hitting the steering wheel with my chest and abdomen. I had bruising on my lower abdomen and extensive injuries to my back, neck and hips. The chiropractor hopes to have me back to 80-90% of normal (how I was before the wreck) within 2-2 1/2 months. I estimate my speed upon impact to be between 50-60 MPH.”
