“I was driving and had to come to a quick stop and my brake pedal felt loose like there was no pressure behind it, almost crashed. It felt like the pedal went to the floor”
NHTSA complaint #11204187, filed 2019-04, 3,750 miles“Had a clunking noise while driving and steering felt loose and wandered at times always in motoion. Dealership diagnosed as loose control arm bolts parts and tightened. Came loose a while after and complained again, said had to order parts. Came back wrong parts. Came back no time to work on vehicle. Went to another dealer. Diagnosed, ordered parts, fixed vehicle and now im being told the faulty parts at 12,300 miles on a 12 month old vehicle are not covered under warranty? The first dealer never reported the problem. Vehicle was in motion.”
NHTSA complaint #11269273, filed 2019-10, 2,500 miles“This truck was supposed to be recalled under the Transmission recall for 10r80 and I noticed while conducting a decode on the vin number that the type and kind of transmission was never listed so I’m wondering how many people have been going through the same issues as us and if this will get fixed because our vin is not recalled and it should be”
NHTSA complaint #11645891, filed 2025-03“My cam phasers are always burning and consuming a lot of oil it also has a ticking sound coming from the engine which Ford says is normal but I don't think it's normal because it gets louder and it happens as I drive all the time. My transmission will automatically slam into a higher gear while trying to accelerate on the highway. Oil is constantly getting into the spark plug chamber even after replacement of seals.”
NHTSA complaint #11651907, filed 2025-03“My Ford f150 began to have two distinct rattles at about 1 year old and 15,000 miles. One rattle happens when my foot comes off the gas and sounds like a flutter like something is loose. The other rattle happens at 1500 RPM and sounds like a metal on metal or a chain rattle. This happens on public paved streets. The Ford dealership verified my concern with both noises and worked with Ford with more than 10 attempted repairs. …”
