“In november 2005 I purchased a new 2006 Honda Odyssey exl. Within a few days the driver's side power window (it is worth mentioning that I have not had any problem with the other power windows) often times did not close when I tried to close it. The worst times are when it rains or the temperature is cold. While under warranty I took the vehicle to another Honda dealer to have the window repaired. They attempted the repairs but were unable to fix the power window. …”

“Rear wiper motor failure on my 2006 Honda Odyssey. Occurred in january 2010. There is a recall notice for this but Honda says my vehicle is not included.”

NHTSA complaint #10386298, filed 2011-03, 98,000 miles

“With my wife driving our small children in our 2006 Honda Odyssey, the windshield washer system failed to operate and clean the windshield. The temperatures were around +25 degrees f and the fluid level was full with fluid rated to -20 degrees f. It appears the system freezes up, even when the van engine temp was fully heated to operating temperature. This is certainly a safety issue as her sight outside the van was impaired by the dirty windshield. She could not see outside the windshield to drive the van in a safe manner. …”

NHTSA complaint #10182188, filed 2007-02, 3,400 miles

“When driving there is a very noticeable blurriness in the windshield. Seems like a defect in the glass. It's like wearing glasses that are way to strong for what you need and makes driving blurry. I am asking for a new windshield as this one is a defect”

NHTSA complaint #11337994, filed 2020-07, 186,000 miles

“While traveling at highway speed, the passenger side glass in my 2006 Honda Odyssey exploded/shattered, resulting in cuts to two passengers, one seated in the front passenger seat and one seated directly behind the first passenger. In addition, the shattered glass caused damage to the leather interior. Honda was contacted but did not investigate and rejected the claim.”
