“Towing a horse trailer plus 2 heavy horses full fuel load. Vehicle sweaved out of control round a roundabout .damage was slight as vehicle jack knifed.the local Jeep dealer informed me I had the early soft springs on the vehicle not recommended fortowing. I contacted Jeep who informed me that Jeep had stiffened the springs to prevent sagging leaf springs.and if I ordered a new part it would reduce the problem of unstable towing . …”

“I have been having numerous problems with front end, tried numerous cures, and am still having same problem. While driving, the front end will begin to shake, when I slow down to 30-35mph, it will go away. It is not a constant problem, but will happen at least once a day. I have replaced front rotors due to excessive vibration while driving. The dealer has replaced several times, had an independent change this time. Now am experiencing a constant noise from front end.”

Said they had same type transfercase. They fixed other jeeps by replacing transfercase. Also notice slight rear wobble when accel and thumping noise. U-joints ok.
