“Starting at the beginning of this month my car will randomly shut off and state to 'shift gear into park' the gear shift lights on all letters light up red and the car takes about 20 minutes to start back up. Today it happened three times in a row while in the car with my daughter and it has me petrified. We went up the hill by our home and it happens and the car started going backwards.”

NHTSA complaint #11240177, filed 2019-07, 87,000 miles

“Car went into neutral for no reason at all. I had to coast to the side of the road. After unplugging the battery and plugging it back in I had lower gears to make it to h-e-b the ship. They said nothing was wrong with it and reset the codes and sent me on my way after two days. He ships harder and gets much less gas mileage”

NHTSA complaint #10928941, filed 2016-12, 51,000 miles

“For being a Jeep and be advertised as off-road, I have never been off-road and my vehicle needs engine studs replacements. The motor has a lot of vibration when stops and transmission bounce when changes gears. I believe is a bad part because I could notice since new but now is very hard.”

NHTSA complaint #11097546, filed 2018-05, 40,000 miles

“I have been calling local dealerships (ancira and ingram park) on and off since june/july of 2016 and every time someone from the service department claims they're too busy to schedule and appointment and will call me back in a week or so. No one ever calls me back, seemingly refusing to handle the recall.”

My front passenger wheel just about cane off. Further inspection of the crash reveled that the steering knuckle/lower control arm had broken into pieces. Air bags did not deploy.”
