“I was traveling on route 18 a 55 MPH road yesterday and hit some ice or center rumble strips in the road. My car went into a large ditch. The front end of my car is severely damaged. The driver side airbag did not deploy. I find this very disturbing. Definitely a safety issue!!”

NHTSA complaint #11289860, filed 2019-12, 106,000 miles

“I started my car to warm it up and in about five minutes time the car was on fire. The vehicle was parked in front of my home. The fire department was called and was able to put it out. Just a few days ago my insurance company told me the cause was due to an electrical malfunction. The car was a complete loss.”

NHTSA complaint #10957519, filed 2017-02, 40,000 miles

“I have been calling local dealerships (ancira and ingram park) on and off since june/july of 2016 and every time someone from the service department claims they're too busy to schedule and appointment and will call me back in a week or so. No one ever calls me back, seemingly refusing to handle the recall.”

NHTSA complaint #10925946, filed 2016-11, 18,000 miles

“I was in an accident severe enough to total the vehicle but none of the many air bags deployed. I rear ended a vehicle on the freeway. I was just concerned since I am unaware what speed I was going at the point of impact. The front of my vehicle was pushed back toward the windsheild pretty far. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures. I just wanted to express my concerns. We did test the car and there aparently no failure of the air bag system, so maybe no problem.”

NHTSA complaint #11302083, filed 2020-01, 60,750 miles

“Water is coming in through the floorboards when it rains while I am driving or take it through the car wash soaking the carpeting and floor matts because their are body seams that are pulling apart an separating. The car is a 2014 with 20, 430 miles on it and has a clean carfax. Jeep dealer says they can't help. I need a body shop. Sounds like a factory defect. I have had the car 6 weeks and I have made 1 payment on it. Not happy and no one is in a hurry to help!!”
