“My Jeep in currently being serviced for the third time, same problem. My Jeep will stop on the highway, at highway speeds, transmission goes to neutral, engine idles. You stop the car, shift to park and turn the engine off, then you can start it up, all the dash board lights are lit and when you shift to drive it bangs. This same scenario has happened over 20 times.”

NHTSA complaint #11104528, filed 2018-06, 105,000 miles

“The shifter is not intuitive and provides poor tactile and visual feedback to the driver, increasing the potential for unintended gear selection.also while at a stop light the vehicle requested me to park, and when returned to drive the vehicle did not drive, I had to turn the car off and back on.”

NHTSA complaint #11319531, filed 2020-03, 87,890 miles

NHTSA complaint #11319532, filed 2020-03, 87,899 miles

“While either slowing to a stop or accelerating from a stop, the vehicle jerks , or lunges . Though I apply the pedals smoothly (gradually), the car moves as if I were pumping the brake at ~1 second intervals. Because the car is in drive and my foot is not on the brake, this causes drivers behind me to get awfully close (as my brake lights do not signal that I am stopping). This happens chronically (>1x /week).”

NHTSA complaint #11383170, filed 2020-12, 50,000 miles

“Car was parked and upon startup produced a loud bang. Car reversed after a jerk and a complete loss of power. Turned car off and turned it back on. Felt like it rode in neutral without the ability to accelerate. Almost caused an accident. I had my child in the back seat. Every light on the dashboard lit up-failed transmission ect... I have photo documentation.”
