“My daughters Jeep Cherokee sport 2.4l at 62000 miles has shut down with no warning while driving. It has stopped entering city streets and when braking hard to avoid another car. When the vehicle stops and suddenly its steering wheel gets hard to steer . The dash comes on with an error on screen saying, car must be in park in order to shift. Turning the key does nothing until we try multiple times.”
NHTSA complaint #11291776, filed 2019-12, 62,096 miles“I nearly had a catastrophic accident when the vehicle went into a death wobble as a result of a defect in the vehicle when being towed four down. NHTSA complaint #11290768, filed 2019-12, 63,252 miles“Car went into neutral for no reason at all. I had to coast to the side of the road. After unplugging the battery and plugging it back in I had lower gears to make it to h-e-b the ship. They said nothing was wrong with it and reset the codes and sent me on my way after two days. He ships harder and gets much less gas mileage”
NHTSA complaint #10928941, filed 2016-12, 51,000 miles“I was driving on a highway. I made a complete stop at the traffic light when red. On green traffic signal, the car placed itself into no motion. The car activated the following warning lights: parking brake, service engine, stability control, and the monitor displayed service transmission. This problem has been repetitive along with a cat purr during acceleration since first day of new purchase.”
