“Car loses power in the first 3-7 minutes of driving. I am starting my car, pulling off, and the car loses power, says something putting the car in parking gear. It has stopped in the middle of the street. This is dangerous. It has happened multiple times. It only happens when I first start the car in the morning. It does not happen teh rest of the day.”

NHTSA complaint #11310524, filed 2020-02, 80,000 miles

“This has happed to over 20 times. When putting my automatic transmission in reverse, the screen displays ' service shifter' I have taken to two dealers and was told they could not duplicate because code resets itself. I am worried as I am a senior citizen and need a reliable vehicle. It seems the dealer can't be bothered to find the problem”

NHTSA complaint #11311746, filed 2020-02, 39,065 miles

“On 7/19/19 - once car placed into gear, it barely moved 5 MPH. Loud noise during shift of gear. Service transmission light came on. Placed car in park and had towed to dealer. Dealer said.. The batter was low. However, the battery was last replaced 7/13/18 (1 year ago). I haven't picked the car up yet as I'm concerned this isn't the real issue.”

NHTSA complaint #11234474, filed 2019-07, 91,000 miles

“The transmission has major operating issues. I am experiencing hard shifts, delays in power at start and in middle of turns. Most seriously now the transmission completely stopped working all together out of the blue. I was sitting at a red light and when the light turned green it had no power and I heard a grinding noises from transmission”

NHTSA complaint #11281791, filed 2019-11, 45,000 miles

“The car has trouble going when it's stopped and I press the gas. It is as if it's thinking and then once it starts moving, it shifts really hard. It's also shifts really hard when while just driving, feels like someone hit me from behind. Also the service shifter light would go on so I replaced the shifter bezel with wires twice and now the service shift light is back on again.”
