NHTSA complaint #11170684, filed 2019-01, 3 miles

“Today I noticed during my car parked at start up there was a ticking sound towards the front end of the engine. After maybe about a min or two it quieted down a lil but it is still noticeable when your standing in front of car. I can't seem to figure out if there is a problem with the fuel pump or if the transmission is slipping as to my previous comment on acceleration delay from a stop.”

“In motion: today 7/28/2019 while pulling out in traffic the car would not accelerate and I looked down in the gear shift drive and neutral was lit and the netrula was flashing. Next, the check engine light appeared, and the dash start flashing star inflation malfunction and see a dealer immediately. I just purchased . My granddaughter was in the car this was very dangerous and scary.”

NHTSA complaint #11240231, filed 2019-07, 45,000 miles

“My 2018 Camry 8 speed transmission intermittently shudders/ slips at around 30-40 MPH or even when cruise is set at 70-75mph. It seems the cpu has difficulty trying to determine the right gear for the speed. When I press the gas, it sometimes hesitates for over a second.”

NHTSA complaint #11300370, filed 2020-01, 16,800 miles

“The car feels like it's going to stall when accelerating from a stop sign or signal light. The transmission feels very jerky like it's in the wrong gear. I'm afraid that I'm going to get rear-ended while the transmission is hesitating trying to figure out which gear to shift into.”
