“The advance trac warning light comes on if the car has been idling for more than 5 minutes. The traction control light comes on and say my traction control is off. The car only has 38,000 miles. I have heard that others have had this issue with the Ford EDGE. Once I start moving the warning light will eventually go away after a few minutes.”

“I went to the dealership to get an oil change and tires rotated. They said I needed rear brakes . Appointment was made for 2 days later. “Door ajar warning regarding driver front door is constantly on and will not go off. In addition, every time I take my foot off the brake, a shift to park notification appears on my dashboard and it makes a beeping sound. This is a huge concern and major problem. This should be a recall issue. Needs to be fixed immediately.”

NHTSA complaint #10970735, filed 2017-04, 49,000 miles

“Car door sensor goes off while driving and will not stop in till I repeatedly shut the door several times. This is very dangerous as when you are driving the alarm goes off and puts the driver in sudden alarming mode and in need of pulling over quickly and at times not able. I bought the vehicle back in sept 2016 and it started 1 week after driving the car and continues.”
