The contact stated that while he was driving at approximately 65 MPH, the door open alarm and chime was sounding, indicating that the driver's side door was open. The contact observed that the driver's side door was closed. The contact pulled off the highway, stopped the vehicle, and turned off and restarted the vehicle several times and the alarm turned off. …”
NHTSA complaint #11637420, filed 2025-01, 190,000 miles“The contact owns a 2014 Ford Edge. The contact stated that all four windows failed to operate as needed. Additionally, the front driver's side door warning light illuminated indicating that the front driver's side door was open however, the door was securely closed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unavailable.”
