“Driving 70 MPH on interstate i40, on a straight section of road, I crossed a bridge when the steering wheel began to violently rotate side to side shaking the truck (death wobble). The steering wheel bruised my right hand and stretched my elbow ligaments. Luckily the two tractor trailers beside me and the one behind me saw my 4 way lights and backed off. Showing down to 45 MPH ended this issue. The front suspension it's responsible for this issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11385960, filed 2020-12, 17,000 miles“At speeds above 60 MPH vehicle has frequent violent front wheel shake/shimmy and has nearly caused numerous accidents whenever encountering uneven road services. Michelin tires are in excellent condition and balanced perfectly. This is so severe my wife will not drive the vehicle nor will she allow our grandchild to ride in the vehicle. I will only drive it on rare instances. Vehicle has less than 10,000 miles, is completely stock and has never been off pavement (offroading).”
NHTSA complaint #11378535, filed 2020-12, 9,000 miles“The backup camera, located in the tailgate, is so distorted it is almost useless. In certain lighting, day and night, it is useless. The camera that looks into the truck bed - located at the top/back of the cab - is incredibly clear and visible. The problem lies in the backup camera. I have nearly hit multiple things due to the lack of visibility. Fortunately, I have not hit anything/had an accident. But the camera, along with the front camera (which is not as critical), is clearly faulty. The image is incredibly blurry. …”

NHTSA complaint #11694549, filed 2025-10, 56,000 miles“The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-250. The contact stated that while reversing, the back-up camera failed to operate as needed, causing the vehicle to strike a pole. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed; however, the dealer informed the contact that parts were not yet available to repair the vehicle under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V644000 (Back Over Prevention). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 62,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.”
