“Driving at a speed of 60mph - all my instrument panel lights started flashing, the car loss all power and turned itself off. I was able to muscle car to shoulder. Put back in park and 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee drove the rest of the trip (10 miles) with no other issues. Very dangerous situation! Thankful there was not much traffic when this occurred.”

NHTSA complaint #10722445, filed 2015-05, 77,295 miles

“I was advised by larry h miller in albuquerque nm that my recall was fixed and that I would need to pay for a diagnostic to see why the service 4wheel drive system light was still on even though I had been there 2 times in past and issue was said to be resolved by a system update. I left the dealership after I was told it was about 280$ that I would have to pay to get the issue fixed-”

NHTSA complaint #10893068, filed 2016-08, 110,000 miles

“I was driving home from work at night and my vehicle died on the railroad tracks crossing just at that moment there was a train approaching and I freaked out but was able to get the vehicle restarted. There continued to be issues with the vehicle shutting down but as I need to go to work I have no choice but to keep driving it.”

NHTSA complaint #10638750, filed 2014-09, 96,453 miles

“Driving 30 MPH, after about 3 miles of driving my check engine light came on. Followed the tips to check the code and it says transmission over temp . Everything seems to be ok at the time but I'm sure this will eventually cause a problem. A couple months ago the whole instrument cluster cut off and on 2 times in a couple minute window but that seems to have been an isolated incident since it hasn't happened since.”
