“My brake and ABS lights come on intermittent. When the two lights come on the speedometer stops working and it's difficult to brake. My local Toyota dealership stated that my ABS actuator/ABS module is going out. This is the same year, make, and model of cars that people lost there lives due to brake issue. Toyota refuses to acknowledge and repair this issue.”

NHTSA complaint #10995417, filed 2017-06, 125,000 miles

“Car was recently shipped from overseas. When I got my car, the dash lights will not go off, the ABS motor will not shut off causing my battery to drain constantly, speedometer will not work, gas gauge moves slow, engine shakes and feels like it is going to cut off. The car was stationary and in motion. Car air condition occasionally blows hot air.”

NHTSA complaint #10910398, filed 2016-09, 103,000 miles

“My Toyota Camry ce has a problem with dash board. All gauges goes up and down. I have video. I took it to mechanic and base on the scanner everything checks out fine. No code indicator. There are many forums about this same problem people are encountering. This problem must be a recall. It does it while I'm driving.”

“Takata recall: I took my 2007 Toyota Camry 4 cyl for the bulletin it has of oil consuption and it pass the test twice, I knew there was something wrong but as the technicians told me it was okay I drove it like that for some months still had to add every 1,000 miles 1 q of oil. Kept doing this until my engine blew. Now irs my fault and they dont want to pay for the repair. Total unjustice from Toyota.”
